About the Lead Front End Engineer Role

As a Lead Front End Engineer at Trove, you’ll play a critical role in leading and managing a team that is building websites for world renowned brands and their resale businesses. In this role you will be partnering with the engineering team on new development for several new clients, while contributing to feature enhancements for the existing ones. You’ll thrive in this role, if you are open to fast pace development and willing to learn and work with cutting edge technologies.


  • Are passionate about delivering well-built software at startup speeds

  • Hold yourself and others to high technical standards (design, architecture, and implementation)
  • Have a healthy capacity to both accept and provide criticism
  • Are humble, diligent, and have a sense of humor


  • Have several years experience coding in React Framework, Redux, and GraphQL
  • Have strong experience with NPM modules and versioning
  • Have strong experience using Webpack
  • Have strong experience coding in HTML and CSS
  • Have strong experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Have strong experience working and integrating with APIs
  • Have experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs)
  • Have experience with server side rendering
  • Have strong experience using functional programming techniques
  • Have at least 5 years of professional experience in building large scale web applications
  • Have several years GTM experience
  • Have experience coding to ADA requirements

Nice to have

  • Have experience building scalable eCommerce applications
  • Have experience using Flexbox/SASS/SCSS
  • Have experience building SEO-friendly websites
  • Have experience working within an automation focused culture--in testing and build/deploy
  • Read books, blogs, and attend conferences to improve your craft
