You'll be one of the foundational engineering hires (we're currently an engineering team of 7 people) and will play a crucial role in building key aspects of our company, including our TrueUSD app, our TrustToken platform, our website, and future products. You'll set the tone and shape the path for what our future looks like.

Engineering at TrustToken
We share a passion for blockchain as the technology of the future and excitement for what the future holds for TrustToken and stablecoins.
We’re a flat team, which means you’ll have direct access to our Director of Engineering, our Co-Founder and CTO, as well as the larger company leadership team. Our engineering team is small, but mighty — we’re currently about 8 people, and our team is growing fast!
Some of the processes that we use to anchor and drive our progress include quarterly goal setting (we call these “OKRs” or objectives and key results), bi-weekly sprints and weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager. We also do regular code reviews and engineers are empowered to push code to production on-demand.
We’re building and working with cutting-edge technology. This is an opportunity for you to invent the best path forward and shape the future of our company, and our industry looks like. The blockchain space is rapidly changing and emerging. The tooling isn’t clearly defined or mature yet. You get to innovate and design what that looks like.
Because we play in the finance industry and deal with real-world assets, we face the unique challenge of determining how to put the right checks and balances in place to make sure that things work seamlessly, while also being highly secure. Our first product, TrueUSD, is a stablecoin that is listed on 30 exchanges worldwide, with a market cap of over $200 million.
We continually balance moving fast, with writing secure, reliable, high-quality code. Our code touches tens of millions of dollars worth of assets each day, so the impact of your work will be seen and felt in a big way.
Build Ethereum smart contracts: Work with cutting-edge, emerging technology. Innovate and design solutions that don’t exist today.
Work on our web applications: We build our apps in-house. Use your technical skills to craft a straightforward, frictionless experience for our users around the world.
Liquidity: Build trading bots to ensure the stability and liquidity of our stable coin and future products.
Help us build: As a startup, we’re still building. Help us design and build our data, testing and monitoring platforms as we lay the foundation for continued future growth. Because we’re a lean team, you’d have a large amount of ownership and autonomy, driving projects from start to finish, and defining how you get there.

We know culture eats strategy for breakfast. A few times a year we gather for a Culture Retreat to spend some quality time together outside of the office, and to get centered around our shared mission, vision, and strategy.
For our last retreat in September, we headed down to the Santa Cruz mountains. It's an awesome opportunity for us to get together and reconnect to why we're all here.

Workshops/Conferences
Learning and growth is a big part of our culture, on the engineering team and across the company. Renaissance ambition is actually one of our shared company values. To help employees pursue continual learning and development, we have an annual learning stipend that employees can put towards educational experiences like conferences, workshops, online courses and even books.

Team Activities
Outside of our company Culture Retreat, we also are big on celebrating birthdays and holidays. We do new hire welcome happy hours and also get together weekly for standup and Town Hall so employees are in the know about what's going on at the company. We also have a Culture Club that organizes monthly get togethers like rock climbing, dinners and other events.

Flexible Hours
Most of our engineers are in the office from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, but we don't have any hard rules around this. We have a monthly work from home day and meeting-free Wednesdays for maker time so you can focus and get things done.
