Engineering at Tuned

Engineering team and processes

Our engineers work in two groups - platform and experience. The experience group makes sure that the platform is a joy to use - and specializes in turning complex interactions into simple and intuitive moments. The platform team works with various exchanges and our own back-end system to ensure continued growth and acceleration of opportunity. Both groups are heroic, but the smooth and sure style of the leadership, especially the co-founders make their personable way of going about business respectable and inspiring. There is a respect for personal lives and work-life balance - but the work is so interesting, it's usually the management reminding the team to take a day here or there to recharge, It's a fun and exciting time to be at the company.

Technical Challenges

There are many, Scaling across multiple exchanges, minimizing latency, working with the best Quant firms in the work to ensure clean signal and superb trades, clean and simple visualizations and gestures and creative on-the-fly thinking in conjunction with some of the best engineers there are to team up with.

Projects you might work on
  • Likely, a systems developer would be asked to integrate with a new exchange or calculate success fees since they touch multiple parts of most systems. For the mobile and web versions, it would be reporting and charting in a manner which improves and already-intuitive front-end.

  • TBD, will be discussed once we have found the right team member.
