Why join us?
Purpose: We're building a platform where all voices can be heard, creating fun ways for people to express themselves, and growing our business in a way that makes us proud.
Growth: Twitter has seen strong growth in the last few years. We grew our daily active users with 11% in 2019. We have over 300 million users using our products every month.
Inclusion: We want our different perspectives to flourish — they make us stronger and help make product decisions that will best serve our users around the world.
Engineering at Twitter
Twitter engineers are organized between product teams and infrastructure teams, all focussed on providing the best experience of our users and growing our company in a way that makes us proud.
Engineering processes vary a bit from team to team, however almost all teams use an Agile methodology, working in 2 week sprints. Twitter has dedicated Engineering Effectiveness teams focussed on providing the best systems and integrations to make the work you do the most effective and pleasant.
Our engineers have the opportunity to work on projects that touch every aspect of Twitter and are seen by millions of people around the globe. Whether you're building complex distributed systems and services for Twitter, focusing on all aspects of our ecosystem and experience, or working alongside designers and project managers to launch new features, you'll be surrounded by talented and motivated coworkers supporting you along the way.
Web: Twitter recently launched a new responsive web experience, build using Node.js and React. https://twitter.com/m7z/status/1120803648185913344?s=20
