Engineering team and processes

We work in 2-week planning sprints but sometimes change it up. We concisely sync every morning as a small company and ideas flow freely (but we don't ramble into nothingness). We let the best idea win and thrive by being able to disagree and commit.

Nothing is impossible but we know our limits so we can push them. Once a week, we have a company all-hands where we discuss top priorities like specific customer requests and hear more detailed updates from the wider group.

We are continually improving our processes around code reviews, documentation, testing, and dev tooling. We aim to ship code daily. Everyone contributes - the CEO asking for someone to review his PR is mostly normal.

Technical Challenges

Maintaining a modular platform that normalizes scanner code from outside developers while supporting integrations to eventually hundreds of cloud services and APIs (all while maintaining quality, availability and security). A single scanners code may be responsible for millions of scan across customer environments.
