Engineering at Vetcove
Engineers are given complete ownership over the projects they take. From project inception, engineers are intimately involved in the architecture and design of any new initiatives, and many times own the full lifecycle of the feature: design, architecture, front end, back end, testing, review, and post deployment maintenance and improvements.
We keep meetings to a minimum (limited to 5 minute daily stand ups), employ version control via git, and have a code review system in place to helps everyone learn from one another. We're always on the lookout for new tools that can help us iterate and build faster!
Vetcove provides real time pricing and stock information for the vast majority of animal health products. We leverage web crawling and API integrations to give veterinary clinics a first rate e-commerce shopping experience.
As we scale to millions of searches, we continue to innovate and rearchitect our application to handle the ever increasing load of concurrent users and purchase data!
Our engineering team recently took on the fun challenge of designing and building an advertising platform with real time cash back incentives. We built the first digital advertising platform in veterinary!
We built a sales enablement app (with react native) for our manufacturer partners. Our vendors can view clinic analytics, track loyalty program progress, and measure deal engagement with their clinics.
We rolled our own internal CSS / React library, affectionately names Barnyard, to help streamline many of our design decisions and interactive components.
