Role Description

Full Stack Engineer at VoiceBase

VoiceBase is a second-generation Customer Experience (CX) Platform that delivers powerful voice and text analytics to the contact center and across today’s data-driven enterprise. We help enterprises make better decisions by using AI to predict customer behavior. We operate at scale, provide enterprise grade security, and are PCI certified. Our customers include Fortune 500 companies, call centers, and voice application developers. We are looking for an experienced JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Their primary focus will be developing UI components, implementing and executing them following well-known Redux workflows, and ensuring that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to manage. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, balanced design when it comes to features and usability, and quality products are important. The position is remote anywhere in the US. You will be a core member of the Software Development Team and report to the Director of Analytics.

Responsibilities:

As a Frontend Developer, you will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive. Understanding business requirements then translating them into technical requirements. Designing a modern highly responsive web-based user interface. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality user-facing features. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of mobile devices and web browsers.

Required Qualifications:

Legally authorized to work in the United States. A minimum of 4+ years of software development experience and track record of React and Redux/Flux industrial experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ECMAScript 2020), including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Strong proficiency with Node.js and React.js and its core principles. Thorough understanding of RESTful APIs. Prior experience with JavaScript testing framework such as Cypress, Jest. Prior experience with data visualization using chart.js, d3.js, Prior experience with modern authorization mechanisms: OAuth 2.0, JWT. Passion for addressing challenges with and without supervision. Great interpersonal skills and communication (both oral and verbal) skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Skills with Agile methodology (including SCRUM and pair programming). Ability to understand and draw UML diagrams. Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN. Git is preferred. Experience with public/private cloud environments. Expertise in using WebSocket protocol. Experience with server-side JavaScript runtime environments, such as Node.js or Deno. Knowledge of current specifications of TypeScript. Experience running stacks in Docker-Compose. Desktop application development using Electron.js.
