Wellthy is a healthcare coordination service. We use dedicated care coordinators and our seamless technology platform to project manage healthcare for families with sick and aging loved ones. Wellthy takes the pain out of healthcare – scheduling appointments, finding the right specialists, researching treatment options, managing insurance, organizing records, communicating with family members and much more. We add a layer of much-needed customer service to the health system – giving families help, hope and peace of mind.

Engineering at Wellthy
Our engineering team follows a Scrumban approach. There's a short daily stand-up each morning and a weekly check-in to make sure we're focused on the right things. We do monthly retrospectives to ensure we continue to improve our process of working together as a team. Engineers work directly with designers and other interested parties to spec a feature and then work on the feature individually. Engineers occasionally pair-program if it's a tricky issue they want to work through together. We use Codetree to manage our stories Kanban-style and use GitHub pull requests to conduct code reviews. Linting and regression tests are used to ensure code quality stays high over time. We have a robust CI/CD pipeline and zero-downtime deployment set up to allow us to release whenever a story is ready to ship.
We're currently building out a GraphQL API.
We're redesigning our onboarding experience for families to automatically match them with the best-fit care coordinator without any manual intervention.
An upcoming project will be to integrate faxing and phone calls so care coordinators can do those activities without leaving our online platform.
