With is the office workspace of the future.

For the last couple of centuries the physical office has been the platform upon which companies have grown. With is the office platform for 21st century companies.

Leaders can connect their team members together, no matter where they are physically located, around their shared missions in a With workspace. They can imbue their teams with the values and culture of the company and create high performing teams by building high levels of trust and camaraderie.

With workspaces put people at the center of work where the presence of teammates inspires the kind of ad-hoc, serendipitous conversations that spawn great ideas. Teammates can have natural, friction free conversations even at a distance. With enables you to turn your chair, walk over to a team mate, or quickly gather a small group and strike up a conversation. Nothing to schedule and no barriers that occlude natural and highly efficient person-to-person communication.

With spaces also include the apps, tools, and content that a team uses to accomplish their missions. With rooms can contain accessories like sticky notes, whiteboards, web links, images, videos, and documents. Users can collaboratively share their screens with each other. And teams can add their favorite web apps like Figma, Miro, and Youtube videos.

Organizations can have an infinitely expandable network of spaces that they can use however they please. They can make rooms where teams can hang out together, leaders can host 1:1's and office hours, hiring mangers can conduct interviews, teams can have daily stand-ups or weekly cross functional meetings, new employees can get to know their workmates, and people can just have fun together.

Engineering at With Labs

Engineering team and processes

We work on a cycle of initiatives. These are prioritized activities around which the team gathers to determine goals, non-goals, and deliverables. We use GitHub for our code process. We ship frequently (daily) with everyone on the team contributing across the stack. Everyone pushes to production. We frequently deploy experiments to production to get user input. As an early stage company our engineering organizational structure is flat, with everyone reporting to the VP of Engineering.

Technical Challenges

Develop a scalable and robust real time audio and video platform. Develop an application platform that brings the web into our virtual space. Apply intelligence to build smarter spaces for teams. Push the boundaries of what is possible with modern web technologies.

Projects you might work on

Don't want to reveal future direction but we've built a platform for remote virtual collaboration that will define the future of remote work. This platform will support our efforts to create a virtual office space that will be better than today's physical office space. This is an exciting, emerging space with massive opportunity for innovation. In addition we are doing this in a very fun, consumer friendly manner.
