Engineering at Workday
We have weekly release process and twice a year major release cycle. Each team decides the variation of the agile process suitable for the team, and everyone follows the continuous testing practices across the board.
We are replacing vertical scaling design with horizontal scaling design. We are re-implementing modules to remove the single-point-of-failure components. We have insights from the production performance data to analyze and determine the next target for improvements.
You would work to replace a single-threaded process with a distributed process to scale up the throughput.
You would work on a holistic approach to address certain performance challenges with bigger customer and longer history with the customer.
