Marie, while working at UBS, noticed this need through her personal experience. Proactively reaching out, she scheduled lunches with various company employees, and eventually ended up having lunch with the CEO. Along the way, she met many people who wanted to be more connected but found it difficult to do so. This is how the idea for this app was born.
Workwell is a mobile app and integrates with third-party services thanks to an SDK and it’s as social as it can be: For instance, you can have lunch with a colleague, find a ride-sharing partner, get a map of the office, book a meeting room, control the AC and more.
We work with large companies and real estate companies like Danone, BNP Paribas, Allianz and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.

At Workwell, we work on a project base and value ownership. Everyone can become a lead on a project.
You have a lot of autonomy to put into practice what you have learned and to implement your ideas for improvement.
Feature teams are created to implement the roadmap. A typical feature team will include at least one member of the business team, one member of the customer success team and one member of the tech team. Everyone is involved and can take the lead on a feature by becoming the owner. We use pull requests to conduct code reviews. Every 3 weeks, we do demos of the features we shipped to the whole team.
We are building a highly reliable and secure server that is able to deal with thousands of users concurrently who use Workwell on a daily basis to access all their services at work.
You would get to design and implement a secure and flexible user management system that would allow users to seamlessly access services in various contexts: at work, at home, in their neighborhood and more, while keeping all data properly segmented and safe.
We are all team leads 🏆
At Workwell, we work on a project base and value ownership. Everyone can become a lead on a project. However, we do have
mentors who have accumulated authority by demonstrating expertise, helping others and adding value. Feel free to go to them for advice, but they won't be giving you directives.
We are mindful 😇 We strive to be mindful by being aware of our surroundings, acknowledging the impact others have on us and the impact we have on them. We try to be kind to the people working around us, to our organization and to the environment.
We value openness and transparency 👐 We wish to become a standard by embracing openness, both externally and internally, not by forcing deals or playing on secrecy.
We think big and excel at it 🚀 We are driven and ambitious, and we need to excel at what we do. We are never scared of questioning our own decisions. We don't accept mediocrity and low-impact work. We are proactive in suggesting improvements at all levels of the company and in trying new things. Failing is OK, not taking action is not OK.
We offer lunch everyday so everyone can eat healthy, tasty food without it being a hassle or having to think of the cost. We pride ourselves in knowing that our interns are as well-fed as our developers. With food out of the way, everyone can stay focused on their work.
It sometimes feels like we are giving a lot. Make sure you care for yourself. We try to set a good example by having weekly yoga and meditation sessions with Louise at the House.
We have team members in Paris, New York, London, Le Perche, Rennes, Hanoï, Sydney, Tokyo!
We think physical spaces have a great impact on the way people feel, interact with each other, and work. To us, creating a work environment that is aligned with our vision meant finding the right place. The Workwell House has two guest rooms. The community (clients, partners, entrepreneurs) and the team (ourselves, family, friends) are welcome to stay any time.
We love dogs!
We organised a 3 day off-site a few weeks ago in Normandy in a castle to work on our culture handbook and roadmap. It's a great way for our team to bond and meet as we are a distributed team.
We encourage our team to attend and speak at conferences. It is a great way to learn and share knowledge.
We care about productivity, not hours.
We product full health coverage.
We are a distributed team and remote-friendly.
