We believe that the automotive industry will change more in the next five years than it has in the past 50. Yoshi was founded to lead that change. We are reshaping the infrastructure required to fuel and service vehicles and, most importantly, helping drivers across the country.

We provide comprehensive automotive services via our own fleet of fuel trucks and a 3rd party marketplace for our service providing partners. We develop a consumer facing application, a truck driver and fleet management application and a service provider marketplace platform and application.

We integrate with smart cars to enable them to request fuel and services directly from our API.

Engineering team and processes

We are an agile team that uses a kanban board for ticket management. We work closes with our product management team to work on single issue tickets as well as multi-week project sprints. We do fun off-site code retreats and build new features every 2 months.

Technical Challenges

We integrate with OEM APIs. We deal with real time data for our fleet and our customers.

We have built many tools for scaling and growth this year including a system for managing a wide variety of promotional pricing and benefits programs.
We built a photo management tool for showing customers the status of their order process in real time.
We are building truck tracking and fleet management tools for our fleet of service vehicles.

We value independence but provide mentorship. We are flexibly with working styles but value productivity. We love to pair program and work as a team, but have no formal requirement for pairing and do lots of work on our own.
