Engineering at Z League

Engineering team and processes

Our current engineering team consists of 1 Front-End Engineer and 2 Full-Stack Engineers.

We operate on a weekly sprint cycle. Each week, our team has a sprint planning meeting where we estimate and prioritize stories.

We also have a weekly Engineering Ops meeting, where we review any high-severity issues from the previous week. We use this time to prioritize our Engineering Excellence backlog that feeds into our next sprint planning meeting.

Technical Challenges

Z League has a large breadth of technical challenges. Some of these include improving our ML algorithms, to building data pipelines to inject player data, to building out our customer facing platform.

Projects you might work on

You would scale the number of tournaments we can run by automating tournament operations
You would build out our user profiles adding awesome features like badges/achievements, historical stats, account balances, etc.
You would improve our division making ML algorithm to make divisions even more competitive
