New features are kicked off with a spec review with product and engineering for feedback followed by engineering writing proposals for any major changes. Work is then accounted for in our project management tool and it's off to the races from there.

We like the idea of making great stuff to make our customers more efficient toward their finances, and that sample principle applies to the internal tools here.
