Engineering at Zonos

Engineering team and processes

Our engineering team operates on cross functional scrum teams which work in an agile fashion. Engineers are empowered to present ideas and solutions to solve the hard problems we face on a daily basis. We use Pull Requests on GitHub to conduct code reviews. We frequently release code to production following the principle of continuous integration.

Technical Challenges

We are scaling complex transactional workflows to provide very high concurrency with extremely low latency.

Projects you might work on
  • We are one of the first customers of Stripe Connect, and worked very closely with Stripe to test and improve that product. The difficulty level was high, as the documentation was in very early development and details were frequently changing. We loved that challenge and are proud of how we helped to shape Stripe Connect.

  • We are creating new ML models to democratize global trade. We love data, and it powers our business. If you love data, we need to talk. :)

  • We took a large production React codebase from being 0% to 100% strongly typed in a short amount of time. It was a labor of love, and the codebase is now a joy to work with.
