What do we do?

We're building software for the construction industry, one of the largest industries in the world at over $1 trillion in the US and over $20 trillion worldwide.

Our mission is to become the default construction software used by everywhere construction in the world. You can think of us as building Github for construction.

Technical challenges

1) We have some serious technical challenges, we're storing huge data sets on mobile devices (construction blueprint files are *very* large). We have one of the largest repositories of blueprints in the world and we're working with SQLite databases that are upwards of 200-300 MB and s3 buckets in the petabytes.

2) We're using Machine Learning/AI to improve construction workflows, which presents a new set of hard technical problems for our engineers to work on.

3) Our software runs across four different platforms - web, windows, anroid and iOS. This presents interesting software development productivity and consistency challenges.

Why join us?

1) We're a revenue focused company and we found product market fit early on. We've raised funding from Sequoia Capital, the most respected investors in the technology industry - they were the earliest investors in companies like Apple, Google, Airbnb and Dropbox.

2) We're rolling out across the US and internationally. We're currently used by every Target, Whole Foods, Nordstrom and KFC in the US for their construction. We're completely dominating this market.

3) Our team is especially strong. Our iOS tech lead built one of the most popular iOS frameworks for uni directional data flows and redux. Our first engineers worked on ballistic missile defense at John Hopkins and won several awards. Our VP Engineering/Product launched the Google WiFi router and our CFO has been through two IPOs and scaled a team from $0 revenue to a $2 billion acquisition by Cisco.

4) We were voted by Apple as one of the top 10 Enterprise Applications of 2016.

5) We're a great fit for engineers who like building tools for people. Our software is relied upon every day by construction workers and architects, it's completely changed the way they think about construction projects and it's rewarding to build tools that people are so grateful for.
