What do we do?

Roost provides a web push notification platform to enterprise businesses. Leveraging the new service worker API, we wrap the complexities of GCM/APNS/ServiceWorker push notification in an attractive dashboard and REST API, and provide the infrastructure necessary for large-scale sending.

Technical challenges

1) Large-scale SQS processing queue stability (processing hundreds of thousands of incoming messages in a way that isolates failures and provides consistent uptime)

2) Technical debt (large amount of legacy codebase written in Java)

3) Analyzing the massive quantities of incoming user data and transforming it into meaningful insight.

Why join us?

1) Founder has considerable experience building and growing B2B businesses and agencies.

2) Bleeding-edge technologies and influence on the future of a developing browser spec.

3) Opportunity to grow skills in line with a growing company.
