What do we do?

We're a small team tackling the absolutely massive mortgage market. We're bringing modern, elegant software to a field that still relies on fax machines and manilla envelopes. We are bringing security, efficiency and joy to a paper-based pillar of the US economy.

Technical challenges

We are a small team, and so our engineers wear many hats. We have challenges for:

1) A product engineer. We rapidly iterate rails applications. Daily release to paying customers who use our software to run their business. We need someone who can gather requirements, spec features, implement and ship. Full stack, where the stack includes a happy, paying customer.

2) Data engineer. We're sitting on a mountain of interesting data, much if which is in the form of PDF files. Maybe by combing OCR, natural language process, a little machine learning (or a little common sense), we could glean some awesome insights? We need someone to hit this hard.

Why join us?

1) Building software to improve the process of closing mortgages is secretly fascinating and a huge market.

2) We've been growing revenue 15% each month for several years now. We're close to profitable and have a long runway to keep building the business and growing our team.

3) Our founding team has deep domain expertise in this field. We graduated from Y Combinator and have raised money from Peter Thiel.

4) We've built the best software in this industry and it impacts people during one of the biggest moments in their lives.
