What do we do?

Our mission is to give people superpowers by thoughtfully merging humans and technology.

We build hardware-software devices at the intersection of humans and computers. Our first product, the Myo Armband, is a new type of computer interface based on reading muscle activity to detect hand gestures and movements.

Technical challenges

1) Hardware design with extreme constraints on space/thermal/power/etc.
2) Machine learning challenges
3) Design of user interfaces for completely new applications of computing
4) Countless low-level physics, sensor design, system design, etc. challenges.

Why join us?

1) We work on some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of humans and computers.
2) We're a highly multi-disciplinary team that spans software engineering, physicists, HCI researchers, hardware engineering, manufacturing, supply chain design, etc. We live at the intersection of science and engineering: take ideas from concept through research right to product development.
3) We have a huge vision for the future of computing and some of the best people in the world in their respective fields already on the team and working towards it.
