What do we do?

The Human Diagnosis Project is a worldwide effort to map any health problem to its possible diagnoses and encode the fundamental data structure of diagnosis. The Project’s mission is to empower anyone with the world’s collective medical insight.

The Project's approach sits at the intersection of human-based computation, active machine learning, collective intelligence, and games with a purpose. By developing the world’s first open diagnostic system, the Project intends to considerably alter the cost of, access to, and effectiveness of health care globally.
