Why join us?

Our mission is using big data to understand the human microbiome. We’re all covered in trillions of bacteria. We help consumers and organizations understand what they are and what they do. Tim Ferriss calls us a glimpse of the future.

We started with largest citizen science crowdfunding campaign in history where we raised over $350,000 on Indiegogo. We have also been featured at TEDMED, on NPR, and have formed partnerships with researchers around the world.

We're using tools like machine learning, crowdsourcing, Illumina Hi-Seq, and robots. In addition to several cool citizen scientist studies, we've just announced our clinical lab to provide results to patients and their doctors. uBiome funded by Google alums, Y Combinator and raised a Series A from Andreesen Horowitz.
